Lola Zyscovich designs and hand-makes all of her jewelry in her sunny San Francisco studio. Her sustainable jewelry is made with recycled metals, natral freshwater pearls and lab-created or otherwise ethically sourced gemstones. Lola′s awareness of environmental issues caused by the jewelry industry has led her to get her materials from ethical sources and be aware of any chemicals or fuel usage in her eco-friendly shop. Everyday luxury for today′s contemporary woman, Lola Zyscovich′s Rivet Collection juxtaposes architectonic design with delicately captured pearls and gems. Handcrafted out of sustainable materials, each piece is meticulously fitted to the gem with hand-forged rivets. The minimal shapes catch the light and reflect from within. Lola went to school at California College of Arts and Crafts for Jewelry/Metal Arts and SciArc for Architecture. She also studied Lutherie (guitar building) with a European master who instilled her love of tools and a job done right the first time. This combination gave her an appreciation of structures, detail and the process of making something from start to finish with her own hands.Read more
